Man and environment are interrelated. The environment influences the life of human beings and also human beings modify their environment as a result of their actions. Two thousands years ago, first forms of primitive sunglasses first appear across the Arctic Circle, such goggles offered no corrective powers nor they protected from UV rays but did protect the vision from the glare on snow.

Taking into consideration the relationship between the man with the environment and the origin of the sunglasses, we created A38, a pair of sunglasses inspired by icebergs. The aim of this project is to introduce a sustainable methodology in the sunglasses industry by innovative technology without overshadowing aesthetics. A38 is characterized by its absence of components, in fact using rapid sintering technology, the frame is designed as a single piece and from a single material which cut outs the process of assembling multiple components, thus, this technology does not create processing waste.
