During the lockdown, faced with restrictions and the inability to work with providers to develop samples, VNRO decided to create a collection inspired by Peru's economic challenges and the resilience of entrepreneurs championing the "consume local" campaign.

The concept of "country of origin" (COO) plays a significant role in shaping consumer perception. However, in today’s globalized world, a product might be designed in one country, manufactured in another, sold by a brand based in a third country, and influenced by the cultural heritage of a fourth—often using resources from multiple nations. This collection seeks to question and redefine the meaning of "Made in Peru" from the brand’s perspective, highlighting our commitment to enhancing local identity through clothing and its visual narrative.
