Graphic Patterns / Fashion Collection
My proposal to the Young creators of the world 2015, a contest created by Promperu in order to show and promote the young design in my country.
This collection is inspired in the stories related to the Paititi, the hidden treasure of the Inkas, however the most relevant is the one Francisco de Orellana told about women who were dedicated to salt. So, the main reference of this collection is a salt place that is in Maras, Cusco whose very representative forms evoke the force with which women work. Another important reference in the collection are typographical signs and how they serve to publicize messages that endure over time, as the stories of the original expedition. Typography and stories that help to preserve, are added to the garments in different combinations and languages increasing the semiotic value of clothing.
